Australia’s first Cashback site to offer both online and offline shopping rewards

Australia’s largest Cashback website has launched its new Card-linked Offers program enabled by Visa. CASHREWARDS members can now link up to five Visa debit or credit cards to their account and earn Cashback offline at retail shops and restaurants.

“This is an important milestone for CASHREWARDS and consumers in Australia who can now earn rewards in-store simply by linking their Visa debit or credit card to their CASHREWARDS account”, said CASHREWARDS CEO and Founder Andrew Clarke.

“We are excited that we can now offer savvy Australian consumers access to Cashback rewards when they visit their favourite shops and restaurants in addition to Cashback from over 1,200 retailers online. It means that our members have the opportunity to save even more as they go about their day-to-day routines, whether they are on the high-street, at the shopping mall or online. Also, for merchants, when CASHREWARDS members shop at participating stores they’re proven to spend more, return more frequently and become loyal customers”.

The program has also introduced a new pay per sale opportunity for Australian retailers and restaurants of all sizes, to attract new customers in-store and drive repeat sales. Merchants can join the platform for free and there is zero internal resource required for implementation.

Retail shops and restaurants who have already jumped on the Card-linked bandwagon include Forever New, Pottery Barn, Sunglass Hut, Bondi Pizza, Pottery Barn, Aveda, West Elm, Novo, Naturalizer, Williams Sonoma, Chat Thai, and many more that will be announced in the coming weeks.

Williams-Sonoma Australia Pty Ltd, the parent company of the West Elm, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and Williams Sonoma brands, one of the first retailers to offer in-store CASHREWARDS agreed that it’s a great new way for shoppers to earn real cash savings. Evan Hutton, Managing Director of Williams-Sonoma Australia commented, “CASHREWARDS in-store cash back program gives our customers the chance to be rewarded with Cashback however they chose to shop with us. It’s another great incentive for customers to choose to spend their hard-earned cash with us and so easy and simple to activate!”

How does it work?

Earning Cashback in-store is free, easy and secure. CASHREWARDS members simply link their Visa credit or debit card with their existing CASHREWARDS account. They then select and activate an in-store card-linked offer from the many options on CASHREWARDS and pay with their linked Visa card in-store.

For added convenience, shoppers can even search and activate offers on their mobile phone when they are in the shop or restaurant. Members can link up to five Visa cards to their existing CASHREWARDS account with all card information being held securely by Visa only – no card details are held by CASHREWARDS.
