Bupa HI Pty Ltd (ABN 81 000 057 590) (Bupa) makes the 2 & 6 month waiting periods waived on Extras (Offer) available to you on the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility criteria
You are an Eligible Customer and can access the Offer only if you meet all of the following requirements:
i. You are a new Bupa customer for policies issued by Bupa HI Pty Ltd (ABN 81 000 057 590);
ii. You take out an eligible (in accordance with clause 2 below) new selected combined Hospital and Extras cover between 1 March 2019 and 30 April 2019;
iii. You make your premium payments by direct debit or payroll deduction (if available);
iv. you are a current Cashrewards member;
v. you are an Australian resident;
vi. You maintain your eligible health insurance policy for 60 consecutive days from the join date and meet your payment obligations; and
vii. You provide a valid email address upon join.
If you meet all the above requirements, you are an Eligible Customer.
2.0 Selected Health Insurance Policy –
2.1 If you are an Eligible Customer, you can access the Offer if you take out and maintain in accordance with clause 3 a Selected Health Cover.
2.2 A selected health insurance policy is any single, single parent, single parent plus, couple, family or family plus selected
combined Hospital and Extras product or package issued by Bupa, but excludes:
i. Simple Start;
ii. Any Hospital product combined with Your Choice Extras;
iii. Hospital Only products;
iv. Extras Only products;
v. Ambulance Only products;
vi. Overseas Student Health Cover, Overseas Visitors Cover and Short Stay Visitors Cover
3. 2 & 6-month Extras Waiver Offer from Bupa; 10% Cash Back Offer from Cashrewards
3.1 If you are an Eligible Customer and you maintain your selected health insurance policy in accordance with clauses below, you will receive 10% of your annual Bupa health insurance premium as cash back into your Cashrewards account and 2 & 6 month waiting period waived on Extras. Bupa health insurance policy product names are subject to change, as a result of industry reforms which have effect from 1 April 2019.
To receive the Offer from Bupa, you must:
i. Be an eligible customer;
ii. Join on a selected Health Insurance policy between 1 March 2019 – 30 April 2019;
iii. Make your first payment through direct debit or payroll deduction (if available);
iv. Meet all payment obligations to Bupa via direct debit or payroll deduction (if available) for 60 days.
3.2 The 2 & 6 month waiting period waiver only applies to Extras. Yearly limits, Other waiting periods, fund and policy rules apply.
Your cash will be refunded by Cashrewards into your Cashrewards account. Allow 7 days for rewards to be credited to your account.
4.1 The Offer is not available with any other Bupa promotional join offer.
4.2 The Offer is not available if you join through a price comparison website (including Compare The Market and Health Insurance Comparison).
4.3 If you breach these terms and conditions before becoming entitled to the join offer, then Cashrewards may elect, acting reasonably, not to award you with the offers. If Bupa or Cashrewards discover the breach after the offers have been awarded, then Cashrewards may decide, acting reasonably, to remove the offers from your account.
4.4 Your Cashback is provided by Cashrewards, not Bupa.
