Australia’s first community fundraising program that provides an upfront donation as well as an ongoing passive income.

These CASHREWARDS Community Terms of Use supplement our standard CASHREWARDS Terms of Use. By continuing to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our CASHREWARDS Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy govern CASHREWARDS’ relationship with you in regards to this website.

These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time and such modification shall be effective immediately upon web posting of the modified Terms and Conditions. Your continued use of this Website shall be deemed to be your conclusive acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
Background
The CASHREWARDS Community program is free to join and is designed to support Schools, Childcare Centres, Sporting Clubs, Charities, Not-For Profits, Faith-Based Organisations and Community Groups throughout Australia.
Registration
An authorised representative from your community group must complete the online application form. This can be found at www.cashrewards.com.au/community and clicking through to the appropriate organisation category. To be eligible to join the program your community group must be either registered with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission, hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) or be able to demonstrate that you are a legitimate fundraising organisation. The organiser will be required to provide a number of details in relation to the community group including the trading name, legal name, address, contact name and position, email address and bank account details. CASHREWARDS will verify these details as part of the registration process. CASHREWARDS reserves the right to reject an application or cancel the program membership for any organisation that we deem to have breached our Terms and Conditions, behaves in an inappropriate manner or we believe acts or operates in a manner not compatible with the core values of CASHREWARDS.
Requirements
Your community will receive a donation of $10 for each eligible active member that signs up to CASHEWARDS by clicking through from your community landing page. For your community to be eligible for the donation the member must be a NEW member of CASHREWARDS and have made an individual qualifying transaction of $25 or more through CASHREWARDS within 90 days of opening their new member account. Qualifying transactions do not include the purchase of gift cards, Refer-A- Friend bonus offers or any other new member promotions. The bonus will only be payable when cash back for the qualifying purchase is approved by the retailer; if a member returns or cancels their transaction the donation will be removed. The donation may not apply to purchases where a missing cash back claim needs to be investigated to get the purchase to track correctly.

Your community will also receive an ongoing incentive of 1% of the cash back redeemed by your members paid quarterly. For example if a community member redeems $100 then the community would receive $1 paid within 20 days of the end of the calendar quarter.

Only (1) one CASHREWARDS account per person is allowed. CASHREWARDS reserves the right to decline transactions and immediately close all accounts including any associated accounts of members who are in violation or suspected of a breach of our Terms and Conditions.
Unethical Behaviour
Where CASHREWARDS determines that cash back has been generated via fraudulent, dishonest or unethical activity we reserve the right to reverse the respective transaction(s) and reduce the community balance by crediting the amount against your account. Misrepresentation and unlawful activity is subject to account termination by CASHREWARDS and/or reporting the activity to the relevant authorities.

The community group membership registration is free. The membership account can be terminated at any time by the authorised representative, and outstanding funds will be transferred to the nominated community group’s bank account.

The membership entitles both parties to use each other’s trademark in print and online, for marketing purposes. Should any suspicious activities or abuse of CASHREWARDS services be identified, CASHREWARDS reserves the rights terminate a community group’s membership account without notice. Any outstanding funds will be the property of CASHREWARDS. Furthermore, CASHREWARDS reserves the right to retain the community groups funds should and community group member or representative abuse CASHREWARDS services to gain personal financial benefits.
Indemnification and Limitation of Liability
When you register you agree to indemnify CASHREWARDS (trading ABN 72 150 888 136), its subsidiaries, employees and property against any loss, liability, claim, demand, damage or expense (including legal fees) that may occur in connection with the use of this service. CASHREWARDS take reasonable care and skill to ensure that the data and information provided and published on cashrewards.com.au is accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the data and information and do not accept liability for any errors or commissions, neither do we accept liability for any resulting damage or losses.
