Godfreys has been Australia's leading vacuum and cleaning expert for over 90 years.
Founded in 1931 by Godfrey Cohen who bought 30 vacuum cleaners from the newspaper auction columns for $50 (the equivalent of about $2,300 today) convincing his father to give him window space in the family’s furniture shop.
Godfreys has become a business that designs and develops vacuum cleaners, floorcare and other cleaning products. In addition to vacuums Godfreys offerings include a variety of other cleaning solutions including steam mops, carpet shampooers and hard floor cleaners.
