Refer a Friend Program Promotion Terms

  1. When these Refer a Friend Promotion Terms Apply
    These Refer a Friend Promotion Terms (RAF Terms) apply to any Refer a Friend promotions run by Cashrewards and by participating in the Refer a Friend Program (Program), you and your friend (Referred Customer) agree that these Terms apply. Terms used in these RAF Terms which are not defined, have the same meanings given to those terms in the Cashrewards Terms of Use.
  2. How to earn a Referral Bonus
    If you are a member of Cashrewards and in good standing you can recommend the Service to a friend and in the process earn a referral bonus for each Qualifying Referral (Referral Bonus). The value of each Referral Bonus, along with the specific terms of the Referral Bonus (Referral Bonus Terms) will be set out in the relevant promotion.
  3. Qualifying Referral
    A Qualifying Referral means a referral that satisfies the following conditions:
    1. a referral that results in the Referred Customer registering as a new member of Cashrewards. The Referred Customer must be an individual, who is not a member of your household and must be eligible to be a member of the Service in accordance with the Cashrewards Terms Of Use;
    2. the Referred Customer must be registering for the Service for the first time. This means that the Referred Customer has not previously registered for the Service, whether with the same member information or otherwise and it may not be a fraudulent, fictitious or duplicate account. For the avoidance of doubt, you may not refer yourself to be the Referred Customer eg by using different email addresses;
    3. the Referred Customer registers for the Servicing by clicking on the referral link that is provided by us as part of the Refer a Friend Promotion and is shared by you (Unique Referral Link);
      and
    4. the Referred Customer must make at least one single qualifying purchase through the Service:
      1. which results in cashback to the Referred Customer;
      2. of an amount at least equal to, or greater than the amount specified in the Referral Bonus Terms;
      3. within a certain period after registering as a member of the Service, as such period is set out in the Referral Bonus Terms.

      5. Cashrewards reserves the right to validate the eligibility of any Referred Customer with respect to whether they are a new customer or as otherwise and may determine any Referred Customer to be ineligible in its sole discretion.
  4. Bonus for Referred Customer
    As part of the Refer a Friend Promotion the Referred Customer who makes at least one single Qualifying Purchase will also be entitled to receive a bonus amount as detailed in the Referral Bonus Terms.
  5. Redemption of Referral Bonus
    The Referral Bonus will become Available Earnings in your Program Account once a Referral is determined to be a Qualifying Referral.
    The conditions for withdrawing bonuses earned under the Refer a Friend Promotion are subject to the Redemption of Rewards section in the Terms of Use.
  6. No liability
    We make every effort to ensure the referral tracking system is accurate but are not responsible if a referral link is disrupted due to your, the Referred Customer’s or a third party’s actions or failure to act, including without limitation, failing to complete sign-up and subsequently signing up for the Service directly without using the Unique Referral Link, changing computers or devices, or any another mechanism that potentially could disrupt the operation of the referral tracking technology. Qualification for, and source of, a Referral is determined in our sole discretion.
  7. Posting of Referral Link and Compliance with Laws
    You agree that you only will post the Unique Referral Link in places where you have direct ownership, such as a personal web site, personal blog, or personal social media account and in each case in conformity with the applicable posting guidelines of the relevant referral mechanism. We reserve the right to prohibit any specific referral mechanism being used to promote the Refer a Friend Program.
    You agree that “Spamming” other individuals to join the Service via unsolicited email, direct mail, newsgroups, message boards, or any other means is strictly prohibited. You agree that you will only make direct referrals without using any merchant site, keyword bids, black hat SEO, paid advertisements (e.g., pay per click), or other similar methods. You agree that any referral made by you will be done without use of i-frames, bots, or any other method of automated distribution. You agree that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation those related to the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), trademark, and privacy. Any referral content used by you in association with the Unique Referral Link will not include inappropriate content, such as hate, porn, violence, or other similar content that we determine in our sole and absolute discretion could be expected to negatively impact our goodwill or reputation. We reserve the right to remove you from participating in this promotion if we determine in our sole discretion that you have violated any of these restrictions, and at such time you will forfeit all Referral Bonuses, including by offset against Pending Earnings or Available Earnings if previously paid, in addition to any other rights or remedies that we may have at law or in equity.
  8. Modification of Refer a Friend Program
    Cashrewards reserves the right to change or modify the terms of the referral program, at any time, provided that any Referral Bonus that you have earned prior to such change or termination will be subject to the terms that were in effect at the time it was earned.
  9. Facilitation by Talkable
    The Refer a Friend Promotion is facilitated by a third party, Curebit Inc trading as Talkable (Talkable).
    You understand and agree that these RAF Terms are solely between you and Cashrewards. You further understand that Talkable solely provides services that facilitate your ability to participate in the Program and share the offers with your friends. Talkable is not involved in any decision and who may, or may not be entitled to a Referral Bonus. If you wish to be removed from the Program, please contact support@cashrewards.com. As such, you understand and agree that Talkable is not liable for any damages you may suffer as a result of participating in the Program, including but not limited to your inability to obtain a Referral Bonus.
  10. Privacy
    Pursuant to Cashrewards’ privacy policy, we will share with Talkable personal information provided by you in relation to you and the Referred Customer. In addition, any personal information will be collected, stored and used in accordance with Cashrewards’ privacy policy
  11. Age Policy
    The Program is not intended to be used by children under 16 years of age. By using or participating in the Program, you represent to Cashrewards that you are over 16 years old and that you are legally able to enter into this Agreement. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from anyone under 16; if you are under 16, please do not use or attempt to use the Program.
